Forward-facing radar was dropped in May 2021, 4 years, 7 months after it launched on 19 Oct 2016.

The millimetre-wave radar behind the front bumper, deleted from Model 3 and Model Y in May 2021 and from Model S and X in 2022 as Tesla went camera-only. Existing cars had theirs switched off in software.
